Kent Tarkleson, PGA
CEO/Owner/Director of Instruction

Kent Tarkleson is an “Instruction Certified” PGA Professional with 32 years of teaching experience. He was selected as the NENYPGA Teacher of the Year in 2011.  He is a K-Vest TPI 3D Certified Instructor, Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor, Class “A” Clubmaker and Certified Master Club Fitter. He is a past President of the Northeastern New York PGA and in 2000 was honored as their Golf Professional of the Year. In 2007 Kent received Ferris State University’s “Bill Strausbaugh Award,” presented for his “Outstanding Contributions to the Advancement of Teaching.”

Dan Rancourt
Assistant General Manager/Golf Professional

Dan Rancourt is  a registered apprentice in the PGA’s Professional Golf Management Program.  He works as Assistant General Manager at Tark’s during the winter months and will be working at Colonie Country Club as an Assistant Professional during the summer of 2012.  Dan is certified as a teaching professional through the United States Golf Teacher’s Federation and has an extensive background in the food and beverage industry.
