Today more than ever, a lot of business is done outside the office and the golf course is one of those places. Golf is a business tool used to network, build relationships and enhance friendships. Whether it is a business deal, a team building exercise or an interview, corporations often use golf as a means to find out how people interact outside of the office environment. A persons integrity on the course directly relates to their integrity in business.
Not knowing the basic etiquette and rules of the game can cause you to embarrass yourself, and your company as well. More people than ever are taking up the game, and what many do not understand is that business golf is not directly about the score. Becoming familiar with basic course etiquette is as important as learning the golf swing. This 3 hour session will focus on the basic fundamentals of the game as well as familiarizing you with proper golf etiquette, attire, rules and verbiage needed to handle yourself professionally while in a golf/business environment.
